NEW JOB: Database & Analytics Manager – North York, ON CA

Full – Time Opportunity

Our Client’s Digital Direct Marketing team is currently seeking a Database & Analytics Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the central marketing database, and providing analytical support for marketing programs through the analysis of customer and market data and to make recommendations for future marketing campaigns.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Creation of email, and news media / social media campaigns that target specific customer segments
  • Campaign management – provide list extraction for email marketing campaign targeting
  • Test and optimize campaigns for high performance – including the use of control groups – and related post-analysis
  • Work closely with product managers on email marketing, editorial e-newsletters and online contests
  • Manage central marketing database of Canadian consumers
  • Develop a deep understanding of specific customer segment groups in order to execute effective and targeted marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Data mining & analysis – retrieve data and identify data errors/gaps in the data sources
  • Data management – migration of customer data between systems to evolve database development
  • Create client-facing post-campaign analysis reports
  • Effectively communicate and present results to key stakeholders and make recommendations on promotional offer structure based on results
  • Extract information from the internal database for various applications including targeted communications and the tracking of loyalty metrics

 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Exceptional organizational skills and an ability to track / prioritize multiple tasks with very little manager oversight
  • Ability to continuously provide deliverables on time and accurately
  • Consumer marketing campaign analysis experience
  • Experience in presenting technical content to a non-technical audience
  • Web analytics experience
  • Advanced data mining skills
  • Email marketing experience
  • Database management experience
  • Solid understanding of internet marketing
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel PowerPoint and Outlook skills
  • Experience with Loyalty program would be an asset
  • University Degree in Business and/or Marketing program
