This is a Commission based role however for the right applicant it can be a very interesting and profitable opportunity. This can also be a remote based opportunity and would be attractive to Consultants with strong IT sales oriented background.
We are looking for an experienced Software Sales Consultant to be responsible for the following:
- Build & maintain a sustainable sales pipeline
- Prospect, generate and cultivate new leads
- Follow up with and qualify existing leads
- Familiar with a consultative approach to solution selling
- Maintain relationships with customers, and identify new revenue opportunities within our existing customer base
- Prepare proposals including RFP’s
- Deliver effective sales presentations both in person and via the web
- Manage contract negotiations to closure
- Manage customer accounts and ensure excellent service
- Provide timely and accurate information to management
- Some travel may be required
Desired Skills & Experience
- Post secondary education, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years professional experience in a sales and/or customer service role
- Experience in a technical sales/customer service role in a technical setting an asset
- Superior communication skills required; strong negotiation skills an asset
- Knowledge of manufacturing, distribution, supply chain and logistics business processes an asset.
- Knowledge of SAP products an asset.
- Must possess very strong teamwork skills
- Experience selling to senior decision makers
- Self motivated with strong time management skills
